For a story about the then-arcane rules dictating the use of cell phones while driving, I created this photo illustration and pseudo-information graphic that broke out the rules based on situation.

The illustration was a combination of stock images, antiquarian photography, manipulated textures and vector illustration. 

The piece ran on the front pages of the Bay Area News Group, including the San Jose Mercury News, the Oakland Tribune and the Contra Costa Times.
